The Continuous Optimization program assists British Columbia building owners and managers in retrocommissioning their buildings, then helps to maintain and continually improve the level of efficiency in their building operations. Continuous Optimization does for buildings what regular tune-ups do for your car: it ensures optimal performance over time.

Monitoring tracks the savings from investments, and can help your organization decide which energy efficiency initiatives to implement across your portfolio. Furthermore, results are presented for your entire building portfolio and they can be used for internal benchmarking to identify best- and worst-performing buildings.
The Continuous Optimization program is for commercial buildings that:
- Are larger than 50,000 square feet
- Have a DDC and/or BAS in good working order
- Can provide documentation including:
- mechanical and electrical schematics
- control drawings
- testing, adjusting and balancing reports
- operation and maintenance reports
- Have well-maintained equipment and systems
- Have no major retrofits or tenant improvements planned for the next one to two years
