Our webinar included a great overview of UBC’s $35M, 300 building ECOTrek project and the keys to its success in reducing energy consumption. John Metras, who was the Director of Operations at UBC when the project was implemented, explained how the project achieved a 23% reduction in campus energy consumption and a 15% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. John also presented the current energy management practices at UBC and future energy saving projects on campus.
